Named by our presenter Charlotte as one of her players of the tournament, we're delighted that Emslie has had her first minutes for Orlando Pride in a 1-0 win over Sky Blue FC following her transfer from Manchester City in June 2019.

To be honest, by the time the Scot was brought on nearing the 70th minute it felt like it was already over despite the fact it was only 1-0... i'm not even sure if Sky Blue FC had registered a shot yet. It was starting to shape up as a masterclass from the likes of Marta (Brazilian legend) and crazy speedy winger Ubogagu who had really good opportunity where she dipped in and out of players and took a swipe which missed by inches.

The goal was scored in 22nd minute by Marisa Viggiano and my goodness it was a scorcher! She took it from the edge of the box, top right corner. BOOM. Game over.

Emslie registered a couple of shots before the final whistle and she's a huge goal scoring prospect for a very good NWSL team. Tamsin and I can't wait to see Emslie blossom in this league. She's a real talent and at age 25 she's still in her prime!
